Designed specifically to absorb the direct blast of an explosion, the MACROblaze flame trap has built into the inlet side, an automatic shut-off valve which will close when a fusible plug in the outlet of the flame trap reaches an insafe temparature.

 These two features are standard equipment and form part of every locally manufactured MACRoblaze flame trap. No brass is used in the flame trap thus making it completely suitable for use with sulphur containing gases such as sewage sludge gas.

All items are of simple robust construction - easily removable for maintenance.
