| Needle Incinerator |
Hypodermic needles cause the most injury among nursing staff. The most common activities associated with needle stck injury include medicating, recapping a used needle and iscarding the needle. None of these injuries need to occur with the HNI Incinerator, which assures that medical and cleaning staff are protected from AIDS and other pathogens transmitted by needle injuries, and completely destroys needles in a simple one-handed operation.
The HNI Incinerator is low-weight and has no moving parts, making it user-friendly and low maintenance. It is available in two units - One that requires a 220V or 110V power supply, and arechargeable protable units for areas with no access to a mains supply. The HNI can incinerate 300 .21 gauge needles before it needs recharging and recharging time is approximately 5.5. hours (overnight). It can be charged through a motor vehicles lighter (cable supplied with the unit.) The unit is ideal for use on medial trolleys, in parmedical vehicles, for industrial nurses and for use in Hospitals, Medical Rooms, Clinincs, Laboratories, Mortuaries, Nursing Homes and Veterinary Clinics, and ideally in places where the medication point is not static. |
